I am a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Cary, North Carolina. I specialize in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and treat adults and adolescents aged 15+ with a wide variety of problems, especially mood and anxiety disorders. I also provide consultation and training for professionals and teach Continuing Education Courses on CBT.
I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in 1999. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at San Francisco General Hospital and my post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco obtaining extensive supervision in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavior Medicine. I worked for several years under the direct supervision of Dr. Jacqueline Persons at the San Francisco Bay Area Center for Cognitive Therapy before entering private practice in 2003. I am a Founding Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. I moved my private practice from California to North Carolina in 2013. I am licensed in NC (PP4466) and CA (PSY16870) as well as authorized to practice telehealth via PSYPACT.
