Dr. Karan Lamb is a licensed psychologist in Florida and the owner of Lamb Psychological Services, LLC. She currently offers in-person and telehealth services throughout Florida, and she provides empirically supported psychotherapy for individual, family, and groups. She works with children, adolescents and adults with general anxiety, phobias, perfectionism, OCD and related challenges to help them develop more adaptive coping skills and achieve their goals. Prior to moving to Tampa, she practiced in the Washington, DC metro area for over 10 years. Dr. Lamb received her doctorate from The George Washington University and worked for a number of years at The Johns Hopkins University conducting comprehensive research evaluations for OCD and other anxiety-related research projects. She has received advanced certifications in OCD and pediatric OCD treatments from the Child & Adolescent OCD, Tic, Trich and Anxiety Group (COTTAGe) at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Dr. Lamb was the consulting psychologist at The Auburn School in Silver Spring, MD, a private school for children with mild to moderate social and/or communication challenges. She is currently an Adjunct Clinical Supervisor for psychology graduate students at the University of South Florida.
