  Dr. Nicholson is fully Board-Certified in Child and Adolescent, Adult, and Addiction Psychiatry. He provides psychiatric treatment of all psychiatric disorders for individuals of all ages, as well as addictive disorders, employing empirically-proven interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (individual, family, and couples), Exposure/Ritual Prevention, Parent Management Training/Contingency Management Training, Accelerated Resolution Therapy and will prescribe psychiatric medications as indicated but only for his own therapy patients. Dr. Nicholson is also experienced in working with schools and has consulted to many area school systems. Specific areas of interest include Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, utilizing Exposure Response Prevention therapy, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, and Trauma-related disorders. Dr. Nicholson provides treatment on a fee-for-service basis and does not accept any form of health insurance and he cannot treat individuals covered by Husky.
