“Life is all about balance! I am committed to assisting my clients in inspiring hope and empowering change. Counseling is the opportunity to promote optimal emotional and personal growth and I welcome the opportunity to facilitate your journey.” I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and received my Master’s degree in Guidance & Counselor Education from the University of South Florida. I was also a Certified Guidance Counselor for the state of Florida, grades K-12. I have over 18 years experience as a Guidance Counselor in both the public and private school sectors, and am a member of the Crisis Team, where I utilize crisis counseling techniques in dealing with trauma, sudden deaths and suicides. In addition, I have over 5 years experience as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem for the dependency court system for Pinellas County. I have over 30 years experience working with children, adolescents, college students, women, men and families. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, self-injurious behavior, trauma, parent-child relationships, health issues and grief counseling. I also specialize in divorce and separation and enjoy assisting my clients in rebuilding their lives after a relationship ends. Counseling is an opportunity for my clients to be able to learn more about themselves and come to see life transition as an opportunity for growth and personal development. I also offer my clients Therapy in Motion (walk & talk therapy) which is a different approach to traditional therapy. Clients experience a therapy session outside in nature while you walk. I am currently owner of our new Sarasota McNulty Counseling and Wellness. I am a member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of American and the American Psychological Association.
