Dr. Stephen Holland is Director of the Capital Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, one of the leading providers of empirically supported cognitive-behavioral treatments for anxiety and depression in the Washington area. He is co-author of Treatment Plans for Depression and Anxiety Disorders, a widely used text for professional and was named one of the top therapists in DC by Washingtonian Magazine. Dr. Holland and the clinical staff of CICT aim to use research-proven treatments to meet the individual needs of our patients. We work with a variety of problems, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety, eating disorders, habit control problems, and anger management. We also provide treatment for relationship, work, and personality issues. When working with complex problems we supplement cognitive-behavioral interventions with techniques from other schools of therapy.
