Lindsay Stewart, Ph.D. received her bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology from Tulane University and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Stewart completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Miami (UM) focusing on treating children and teens in the Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment clinic and adults in UM's Psychology Department's Anxiety Treatment clinic. She specializes in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders (social anxiety, excessive worry, panic, phobias, and perfectionism) as well as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related conditions such as Tourette's, trichotillomania, skin-picking, and body dysmorphia. Additionally, Dr. Stewart has specialized training in the treatment of trauma-related conditions including Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Dr. Stewart currently maintains a private practice in Fort Lauderdale. She previously served as the clinical supervisor for doctoral students in the Anxiety Treatment Clinic at Nova Southeastern University, which provides evidence-based treatments for anxiety and OCD to the South Florida community.
