The Bio Behavioral Institute is a multi-disciplinary facility that specializes in the evidenced based treatment of OCD, BDD, and anxiety and mood disorders. Offering individual weekly and intensive outpatient therapy, both in-person and via telehealth for a wide range of patient needs, the Bio Behavioral Institute has a distinguished level of expertise in a variety of diagnoses, assessment, obstacles to interventions, and treatment plans. Providing a range of psychological services for children and adults, the Bio Behavioral Institute is also home to the United States’ first intensive outpatient program (IOP). The Bio Behavioral Institute’s IOP is an ideal middle ground between traditional outpatient and residential treatment, placing it at the forefront of intensive treatment. This residential-like program consists of multiple individual therapy sessions per week, allowing patients to continue their day-to-day lives, while engaging in comprehensive and well-rounded treatment. Catered to patients’ unique needs, the intensive outpatient program provides flexibility to those in and out of New York State. With a team of licensed psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, post-doctoral fellows, interns, externs, and research assistants, our staff is thoroughly-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Treatment and Exposure and Response Prevention, and its applications to an extensive range of populations. Our staff utilizes a variety of additional interventions including DBT and ACT. In addition to the vast psychological services offered, the Bio-Behavioral Institute is also a leading research facility with over 45 years of participating in pharmaceutical clinical trials, scientific publications, and books. We offer scholarships yearly and try to accommodate patient's financial needs when possible
