I am a licensed psychologist who works individually and with the families of children and teens who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic stress, emotional dysregulation, and social challenges. I individualize treatment using CBT, ERP, DBT-informed, trauma-informed, interpersonal, and Social Thinking interventions. I have particular skill in adapting these interventions for preschoolers and children/adolescents with special education needs. My training includes degrees in Educational (M.Ed.) and Clinical (Ph.D.) Psychology from the University of Virginia, followed by postdoctoral fellowships at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Sheppard Pratt Health System. I also worked for many years as the supervising psychologist at a K-8 therapeutic special education program (Forbush School at Glyndon, Sheppard Pratt).
