I currently direct and treat patients at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) at Boston University. We provide evidence-based clinical services - primarily CBT, to individuals of all backgrounds. CBT is a skills based therapy meant to enhance coping strategies for those suffering from emotional difficulties. It focuses on understanding the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in order to foster positive changes. At CARD, we specialize in helping adults and children address a wide range of anxiety disorders and related challenges such as difficulties with mood, sleep, concentration, and pain.

As a Center, we are devoted to studying and treating emotional disorders and offer a variety of services including diagnostic and neuropsychological assessment, as well as group and individual therapy. We also offer week long intensive treatments for panic disorder or specific phobias.

Many of our patients have tried talk therapy in the past and have found additional gains with us using behavioral therapy. We routinely leave the office with patients to seek out real-world therapeutic situations like driving, heights, flying, and social interaction to name a few. We welcome and respect the diversity of our patients.
